This cozy nature house is in a unique location in Doldersum, a village in the Drents-Friese Forest. It lies on the edge of a small-scale bungalow park on 2 acres of private land and offers a beautiful unobstructed view from the front, side and back. A place where you experience tranquility during every season and can see the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. On clear evenings you can enjoy a truly magnificent starry sky. The nature house has a cozy living room with fireplace and a simple kitchen, which includes a 4-burner gas stove and a refrigerator with small freezer. A bathroom with shower and toilet. There are 3 small bedrooms. The beds are new (140x200, 120x190 and 90x190). You need to bring your own bedding and other necessary linen. The whole is equipped with gable heaters. No TV or wifi connection fits the atmosphere of the cottage. There is a spacious, sunny terrace and at the back is a picnic area where you can also hang the hammock.

The location of this nature house is in the middle of a nature reserve. At the front you overlook the lands of Natuurmonumenten, the side and back is owned by Het Drents Landschap. This also includes the Huender farmhouse about 2 km from the cottage. At the farmstead is a center where information about the course of the Drentse Aa and the sheep flock is given. You can also take a look in the Potstal (stable where manure is hoarded). With a little luck you will see the shepherd with his dogs working somewhere nearby when the flock needs to be moved. From the center are many beautiful hiking trails. Among others to the watchtower in Doldersum, there are areas where Highland cattle and sheep roam freely. For daily shopping you can go to Vledder and Diever. Bike rental in Vledder has a drop-off and pick-up service. There is a tourist office in Diever and Visitor Center in Appelscha.
