This nature house is a converted carpenter's workshop, located in a beautiful garden (shared with the owners) of almost 2700 m2 on an old access road. It is fully furnished and fully equipped. By the way, the kitchen equipment is "basic". See description. Bed linen and towels are provided. If necessary, laundry facilities can be provided. Bicycles can be rented in the immediate vicinity from the company Obisk in Sleeuwijk. Upon arrival you can pick up the key at Rijksstraatweg 46 in Sleeuwijk. From there it is about 500 meters drive to the nature house, where private parking is available.

The nature house is located in the beautiful land of Heusden and Altena. On this island are three forts and the fortified town of Woudrichem, all part of the Dutch Waterline, a just-appointed world heritage site. Across the river is the fortified town of Gorinchem. The nature house is about a kilometer from the Merwede River. From the dike the floodplains are accessible and there is a beautiful walking route to the historic town of Woudrichem. Beautiful routes through the land of Heusden and Altena make it possible to visit the historic town of Heusden by bicycle. The Brabant Biesbosch is about 10 km away.
