We renovated an old stone hamlet above Saint Antonin Noble Val in the Aveyron Gorges of South West France. Your house is a 300m2 stone building with all modern amenities and comfort, which has been rated 4**** by the French tourism board and has 4 Epis (wheatsheaves) with Gites de France. It houses 15 people in great comfort with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We just opened in November 2019 with the aim of combining the peace, beauty and serenity of our setting with the high comfort of the accommodation. We also made this for all: so the whole ground floor is fully wheelchair accessible and there are 2 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms fully accessible too. Outside a large fully secure swimming pool, a large terrace with pergola, a bar&BBQ area, a shaded parking area with electric car charge point. Inside a large 65m2 common room houses a large fully-appointed kitchen with bar island, a dining area seating 16, a wood stove and flatscreen smart TV. the house brims full of character.

Our nature house is set on the plateau above Saint Antonin Noble Val with views of the white chalk cliffs of the Aveyron river. Atop a hill, with the nearest neighbours 500m away, there are panoramic views of valleys, cliffs, hill-perched hamlets and gorgeous countryside. Our grounds are dotted with wild flowers, the emblematic ones here being the different species of wild orchids. In turn, insects and birds abound. On the property there is a fruit orchard, a truffle oak grove, lovely gardens and plenty of mature trees (oaks, walnuts and ash mostly). All around us are fields where the local farmers graze cows and sheep (well away) and there is the odd vineyard too. Hiking paths and mountain bike trails abound, actually a hiking trail passes on our doorstep. Canoeing on the river (5 km), paragliding, a via ferrata, rock climbing and an adventure park complete the rich sporting outdoors scene. If you love architecture, there are loads of medieval villages, castles and churches in a 30km radius.
