The beautifully crafted nature house Cabin sits on the edge of a tree-huggingly wonderful wood. It’s furnished in a rustic, romantic style and is the perfect hideaway for two people. The cabin is off grid and uses solar energy for lights. Inside there's a cosy seating area with a wood-burning stove (which also heats the shower water). There are guide books to the area and local flora and fauna as well as art materials, fishing gear and much more. There's a well-equipped kitchen/dining area with gas oven and fridge and your basic culinary items. There's a shower-room with composting loo, basin and shower. Up the handmade staircase is a simply furnished bedroom with one double bed and views out over the lake. Outside is a terrace with seating and down by the water is a BBQ, a couple of hammocks and a raft for exploring the lake. We provide bedding and towels and a few basic toiletries as well as a bottle of wine and a few cold beers so you can relax the moment you arrive.

Nature is all around you. There are birds, butterflies, red squirrels, frogs and fish, beautiful wild flowers, & mushrooms (in season). Explore the many off road tracks on foot or hire our bikes and whizz down to the village for croissants, or pop into Piégut for the excellent weekly market. There are caves and chateaux to visit all set in the acclaimed Périgord Vert countryside.
