This nature house was created from the complete renovation of a mountain stazzo located in a saddle between Pescasseroli and Bisegna in the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park. It features a spacious dining room with wood-burning stove, kitchen and two lovely rooms that can accommodate couples for a romantic stay or groups of hikers wishing to explore one of the most fascinating and remote areas of the Park. It has a total of 10 beds, hot water and electricity. The low telephone signal ensures complete immersion in nature. It is accessible on foot and by skis or snowshoes in the winter period.
Nature and surroundings
Terraegna plateau is home to the great wildlife of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park including bear, deer and golden eagle. From the refuge, it is possible to watch a warm sunset in summer after a busy hiking day or listen to the howl of the wolf during winter nights.
