Our 4 person cottage is located on a mountainside on a mini vacation park on the outskirts of the town of Sankt Andreasberg. The cottage is warm and cozy furnished and equipped with a living room with fireplace with TV and internet, 2 bedrooms, a dining room, a small basic kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a covered outdoor terrace overlooking the mountain opposite and a small free garden. Pets are allowed for an additional charge and bed linen + towels can be booked for €10 per person. Of course you can also bring your own. We ourselves live in a village nearby but are always available and will come to greet you on arrival and departure. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for the disabled because you have to climb 3 stairs to reach the cottage. A car cannot reach the cottage but can be parked for free at the park. In Sankt Andreasberg you are obliged to pay a Kurtax, which amounts to €2.30 per adult per night.

Nature in Sankt Andreasberg is beautiful. There are many hiking trails in the area, biking trails, cross-country ski trails, and a few small ski slopes. Our cottage is actually in the middle of nature. Deer, foxes and raccoons regularly come to greet our guests in the little garden of our house. In autumn, listening to the deer belling on the surrounding mountain slopes is breathtaking. In winter there is usually enough snow for white hiking, cross-country skiing or skiing. In summer, the forest is wonderfully fresh and green and there are natural swimming ponds in the area for swimming. There are also several outdoor activities you can do. No need to get bored. Through the area there are some great hiking trails (of 125km) and of course a lot of smaller ones. A visit to the highest mountain in the Harz, the Brocken, is also more than worthwhile.
