This nature house is quietly located 50 meters from a lake, just outside Thil sur Arroux, a small Burgundian village. The nature house is very comfortable, with double glazing, shutters and electric heating. The garden faces south and overlooks the lake, where you can not only fish but also swim. On the ground floor, this nature house has a well-equipped kitchen with insert wood fireplace, a spacious and bright living room with French doors to both front and back gardens, double bedroom and a bathroom with sink and toilet, and shower. Upstairs is the second double bedroom and a room with a fifth bed for an additional guest, toilet with sink. The garden has a terrace and is equipped with a table with six chairs and a barbecue. There is outdoor lighting, so you can sit outside for a long time. Guests also have access to a (fishing) boat and a jeux de boules court.

The nature house is located on the southern edge of the Morvan Regional Nature Park, or Bas-Morvan (lower Morvan), an area of hills, forest and farmland. In the lake Des Baudurettes near the house may be fished without a permit; there are vending machines for day passes. There are also toilets at the lake and a basketball court. The village of Thil has two restaurants, both offering excellent Burgundian cuisine. The natural surroundings are excellent for hiking and cycling. Thil sur Arroux is a short half-hour drive from Mont Beuvray where archaeological excavations are still taking place, and a little further from Haut Folin, the highest mountain in the Morvan. The city of Autun with many historical sites and a cozy quarter around the cathedral with many good restaurants is also a half-hour drive away. Just one and a half kilometers from the house is a small grocery store that also sells bread. Supermarkets can be found in Luzy.
