This naturehouse for 9 people is nestled in Burgundy in a park with old trees. This heritage estate is steeped in history : around 1750 the owner of the property opened a quarry to extract yellow ocher, used as pigments for oil painting. Two centuries later, the house was purchased by a songwriter, father of the French pop star France Gall who won the Eurovision song in 65 ! Today, it is a gallery-style B&B with from time to time, artistic workshops & concerts. There are 3 elegant suites with their own bathroom & separated toilets: The Suite/Loft NUAGE is an open space of 80m2 and up to 5 persons : 1 king size bed, 1 person bed, 1 convertible for 2 persons. The Indian suite PONDICHERIE has a queen size bed The ochre colored suite OCKRA has twin beds. The owners are living in a part of the house. Price included breakfast prepared by the owners. Dinners are possible to book in advance.

This naturehouse is at the border of the village of Pourrain between Toucy and Auxerre in the Yonne. In the heart of the country of the writer Colette, it is surrounded by green countryside, ponds and charming villages, the castles of Guedelon, Saint-Fargeau, Ratilly, Vezelay and the vineyards of Chablis, Irancy, Sancerre... The ocher quarry on the site is covered with an enchanting forest. It is a heritage park of 1,5 hectare to rest on a bench or hammock with a glass of wine. The plaiting hedges consist of dead branches, thorns and bushes to hug the hedgehogs. It is still an undeveloped park with old woods, fruit trees, oaks, chestnuts, hazels, boxwoods and pine trees. It's a wild grass meadow with a tennis court covered with moss which hosts concerts in summer. The blue tits and green peaks whistle the day and the bats dance as soon as it gets dark.
