It is a detached cottage situated on a dirt road in the woods around Doldersum. Sitting in the cozy living room with large windows and cozy wood stove, you imagine yourself in the middle of the forest. The cottage has three bedrooms: two with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have their own sink (cold water only). The kitchen is spacious and has a double sink, large refrigerator, four-burner stove and a small oven/microwave combination. Although the cottage is in the middle of the woods, there is always a place in the large garden where the sun shines. Garden furniture is plentiful and the picnic table is in a sunny spot. For the children there is a trampoline, a swing and other toys. In the barn there are four bicycles you can use.

The nature house is on a small-scale vacation park in the middle of the National Park Drents-Friese Wold. Whichever way you go, within moments you are in the middle of the wilderness. The Doldersummer- and Wapserveld is around the corner, the woods around Boschoord as well. An ideal area for long walks or bike rides. And swimmers can go to the crystal clear waters of the Canada Lake, a few kilometers away. Nature around Doldersum shows itself from its best side. Deer in abundance, the crane has already been spotted in the neighborhood and even the wolf has been seen more than once. In short, for anyone who loves nature an ideal place.
