From the property you can walk straight into nature. A large swimming lake is located in Saint Eloys les Mines (nine kilometers away) and in the vicinity are several beautiful, quiet lakes with good water quality. For sports enthusiasts, the area lends itself well to taking the road bike/mountain bike with you and enjoy cycling here, but you can also make beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity of the house. Le Quartier is located in the tip of Puy de Dôme. Large cities are Montlucon, Clermont Ferrand and Vichy. In Saint Eloyes les Mines you will find the supermarkets Lidl and Carrefour, restaurants and an extensive Saturday morning market. In Pionsat (five kilometers) is a small intermarché. Nearby is the medieval village of Montaigut. The chain of volcanoes is a must see for nature lovers and hikers. Take the hiking map from the house or visit the impressive Buddhist temple or the cute little town of Charroux. A canoe trip down the Sioul is highly recommended.
