This is a beautiful, 17th century, Norman farmhouse. The barn consists of two apartments/gites, including this cottage. The nature house is for rent year-round and so is equipped with heating (via heat pump). The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner stove, cookware, microwave, oven, sandwich maker, coffee maker, kettle and refrigerator. You will also find a washing rack, iron and ironing board. On your own terrace and balcony you will find a cozy garden set with garden cushions & umbrellas for wonderful moments. The house is surrounded by a very large garden with a large grassy meadow where sheep roam and a (young) food forest (permaculture). You can use a barbecue, deck chairs a swimming pool and an ecological swimming pond. You can use the washing machine in the common room. The hosts are happy to be there for you as a guest, welcome you warmly with all your questions and offer you the peace and privacy you need.

The nature house is located in the middle of Parc Naturel Regional Normandie-Maine. The park offers a range of very varied riches. You will find rare animal species, such as the pearl mussel or the white-legged shrimp, as well as remarkable landscapes such as the heather moors, moors and limestone hills. This park dates from 1975, extends over two regions (Lower Normandy and the Pays de Loire), covers an area of 235,000 hectares and includes 150 municipalities in the departments of Orne, Manche, Mayenne and Sarthe. The park can be divided into a haut pay's (highland) with ridges and wooded slopes in the Alpes Mancelles and a bas pay's (lowland), which is characterized by its scenic landscape, the rolling hills of the Saosnois and the open fields around Sées and Alencon. The landscape also consists of impressive forests, such as Écouves, Andaines, Perseigne, Sillé and the Alpes Mancelles. Some wonderful sites: La Fosse d'Arthour (Arthur's Gorge) and Mortain Falls (highest waterfalls in western France).
