In Sarzay located in the heart of France, area the Berry, is on the organic farm, the charming chalet. Built by the landlords themselves in the Berrichons style and suitable for six people. From the covered terrace you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the still quite unspoiled nature, and the beautiful starry skies and dark nights. The feeling of outdoor living is all the better when you unzip the front. The front is made of canvas from a caravan awning so you can choose whether you have a closed living room or an open living room. The chalet has two bedrooms, a dining/sitting area with simple open kitchen, a shower room with sink/shower cabin and toilet. The bedrooms and shower room have solid walls, the ceiling of the bedrooms is made of reused tent cloth. The roof of the nature house is made of wood which is covered with tiles on the outside. Additional heating is possible with a wood-burning stove. Pool available in high season then only weekly rental possible

Area the Indre is the middle of France. The area is hilly, agricultural and authentic with its many hedges and small roads. There are many picturesque villages where you can enjoy French cuisine, and each village has at least three hiking/biking trails. The area is not too touristy but cozy with an eye for nature and outdoor activities. Traditionally, the Berry was also the area of the witches, which is why there are still many alternative cures to be found today. Back then, there were also vineyards. Currently the wine region is a little further away (40 kilometers) but in the immediate vicinity one can still find monumental small wineries. Also known is George Sand and the small castles. The village of Sarzay still has a castle from the 15th century. The farm has 52 hectares of land. There are pastures for the farm animals and for growing organic grain. The idea is that the animals do some of the tillage (keeping weeds clean and fertilizing), to make the growing of grain less intensive (less use of machinery). In the yard of the farm is the home of the landlords and two gites, a little further is the nature house. Completely free.
