Welcome to Beek Montferland. At the edge of the Bergherbos on the southwest edge of the Achterhoek, you will find our attractive nature house. As a nature lover, hiker, cyclist and mountain biker you can indulge yourself here. The nature house is just steps away from TOP ;t Peeske where many routes start, including the Pieterpad and the Toppenroute. The nature house has beautiful views over the countryside and the Bergherbos. The cottage consists of a spacious living room with kitchenette, two spacious bedrooms each with private bathroom and air conditioning. There is a private terrace with a view. The living room has a dining table, a sitting area, a kitchenette and a separate toilet. Both bedrooms are spacious and bright, have good beds and a sitting area with TV. plus a lovely wide view. The nature field, contains a food forest with fruit and nut trees and wild flowers and an additional seating area. There is also a vegetable garden. There are also several restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance.

The Bergherbos is a rolling, vast, mixed forest area owned by Natuurmonumenten, surrounded by natural fields and atmospheric villages. In the southwest of the Achterhoek it is beautiful cycling along the river Oude IJssel, the Rhine and the farming landscape. In the Bergherbos and surroundings you will find animals such as deer, badgers, ravens, partridges, the green, spotted and black woodpecker and white herons. The Bergherbos is known for its many viewpoints. From the Hulzenbergtoren, Motte Montferland or Kale Jacob you can look about 30 kilometers far. A beautiful sight. You can also cross the border into the German nature reserve.
