This is a very cozy nature house! This cottage is traditionally handmade with logs that fit together seamlessly. The construction style comes from Norway and there are Canadian elements such as the vertical styles of the door and windows. The cottage has a pleasant atmosphere and summer and winter are pleasant. To save space, a good quality sofa bed was chosen that can be operated almost literally in a snap. The bed measures 1.40 x 1.90. There is electric heating, shower and toilet. At the kitchenette you can cook on a two-burner ceramic hob. There is also a refrigerator with freezer, kettle and coffee maker. The nature house has WiFi and TV.

The nature house stands some distance from the owner's main residence on a mixed forest plot of over one and a half acres. Near the cottage there is an ecological swimming pond in which you can enjoy swimming. (This is shared with the landlords) The pond also attracts all kinds of birds and animals. Rees, squirrels, badgers, hares, the occasional fox and the kingfisher. Also martens, salamanders, frogs and ring snakes feel at home. In the area there is "something for everyone". From the nature house, beautiful hiking and cycling can be made. Forests, meadows and the floodplains of the IJsel are a must. The surroundings of Lochem has a beautiful castles route. Also sailing with a canoe on the Berkel is a nice option. There are also nice restaurants in the area and visits to the More Museum in Gorssel and the old town of Deventer are worthwhile.
