This nature house is located on the outskirts of the hamlet of Aupont.Four kilometers away flows the Loire, one of the great rivers of France. The surroundings are quiet and lovely. You enjoy a beautiful view of hills, forests and meadows with white Charolais cows. In summer, it averages four to five degrees warmer than in the Netherlands. It rains much less here than in the slightly northern Morvan thanks to a favorable microclimate. You can enjoy hiking near the house but also further away. Or make beautiful bike rides on the so-called "voie vertes", special bike paths that have been created in recent years to promote green tourism. For example, you can take the little train from Gilly sur Loire to Digoin and then cycle back along the bike path along the canal. Very fun to do. You pass many cute little locks. A canoe trip on the Loire is also a possibility. The nice villages in the neighborhood, the old churches, the flea markets show you a piece of authentic France.
