Also nearby is the nature reserve ;t Lutterzand. The nature reserve ;t Lutterzand is crossed by the small river Dinkel. The Dinkel rises in Germany, between Coesfeld and Ahaus. The catchment area in t Lutterzand has been left as natural as possible. The Dinkel meanders through the sand deposits and can move several meters per year.
