This spacious country house can accommodate as many as eight people. The nature house is perfect for several families and/or generations, for example. Both floors have a bathroom, living room, kitchen and two bedrooms. The veranda overlooks the garden and the lake. A private jetty gives the opportunity to fish, sunbathe or go boating.

The house is located just outside the village of Ryd. In Ryd you will find a well-stocked supermarket, pharmacy, doctor's office, library and bank. Ryd has gained fame thanks to the old car cemetery in the forest: Kyrkömosse. The Viking bridge at Blidingsholm is also worth a visit. The house is located by the lake Åsnen. Åsnen represents 100 km² of water with numerous islands. Part of Åsnen is National Park. The Mörrum River flows from Åsnen through an almost fairytale-like valley to the Baltic Sea at Karlshamn. This river is best known for its salmon and it is therefore a popular location for the fly-fishing enthusiast. In addition to the bicycle routes around the lakes, the house is also located on the brand new Sydostleden bicycle path. This is almost 250 kilometers long and runs from Simrishamn to Växjö. The Banvallsleden also runs past the house: a route from Karlshamn to Halmstad. Although one is in the middle of nature here, the cities of Karlshamn (old fishing town), Ronneby (beautiful Victorian park), Karlskrona (world heritage site), Älmhult (Ikea Museum in Ikea's very first department store) and Växjö (shopping) are all within a 45-minute drive.
