This nature house is an attractive farm apartment where space, tranquility and intimacy go hand in hand. The apartment consists downstairs of the entrance, a spacious living room with generous open kitchen, the master bedroom + luxury bathroom annex. Upstairs is a small attic room and potentially another large attic room with extra toilet. Pets are not welcome because of the furnishing which also makes the house less suitable for several small children. This apartment is part of a large farmhouse that is sometimes rented to larger parties (10-12). Of course, the rest of the house is not rented to third parties during your stay. You will be the only user(s) of this nature house located on a total of 5000 m2 of land. The house is easy to reach by car and there is plenty of parking space. From Assen and Groningen there is a bus to Een. Our rental price is based on 2 pers. For a 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th pers. is a surcharge of Euro 15 pppd/n calculated.

The area is very green, great for walks and bike rides through the forests, moors and meadows. There are beautiful nature reserves at a distance of 5-8 km from this cottage, such as the Fochteloerveen near Veenhuizen and the Mandefjild near Bakkeveen. In Steenbergen (three kilometers) is one of the largest dolmens in Drenthe, and of course Veenhuizen with its rich history is a must. The museums in Groningen and Assen (20 kilometers) are both well worth a visit. But also in the neighboring villages there is plenty of culture and antiquities to admire, such as a beautiful Romanesque church in Norg and a beautiful borg in Roden. In Norg there are two supermarkets and several other stores such as a bicycle rental company, as well as a number of restaurants, while the cozy center of Roden has several nice terraces in addition to numerous large supermarkets.
