This nature house is located on an authentic, large farm where you can taste the real Achterhoek atmosphere. You look out over meadows, you might spot a falcon or pheasant. What could be more delightful in the summer than sitting by the outdoor fireplace after a long walk in nature or having a nice barbecue on your terrace? The children can romp around here. Will you come and see the chickens and goats? In summer, the swimming pool is at your disposal. Cooking outside? You can do that too! With a package or a recipe of your own choice. Ask for it. The scenic landscape around Aalten is very varied. Hills, arable land, meadows, woodlands and plains: a perfect starting point for beautiful cycling and walking tours. There are beautiful routes around the cottage. Outside in the yard you will find a large vegetable garden. Eggs are for sale. In summer the landlady always makes jam and apple sauce from the fruit of the trees, this is also available in the farm shop. In the vicinity you will find the Vennebulten and the Aaltens Goor and also a nice gnome forest for the little ones. In the vicinity of Aalten: The Slingeplas, Loohuisbos, Landgoed 't Walfort, the Kloosterbos and Zwanenbroek. In the outlying areas near Winterswijk are the Korenburgerveen, the Wooldseveen, Buskersbos, Bekendelle and the Steengroeve. The Vragenderveen is about 15 kilometers away. Across the border is also a beautiful hiking area, cycling and hiking routes are available from the hostess or at the local tourist office. Near Aalten is the book town of Bredevoort. This special city is also highly recommended to visit. The Achterhoek has a lot to offer.
