The grounds are approximately two acres and consist of meadows surrounded by forest walls, where you are free to roam, there are several benches and other seating options available. There are several hiking trails, bicycle routes and bike trails nearby, maps available on site. A canoe trip through the nature reserve De Onlanden near the Leekstermeer is highly recommended. National Park Lauwersmeer and the Fochteloërveen are nearby. A day trip to the Wadden Sea or Schiermonnikoog is also possible. We have our own vineyard and winery, you can buy wines from us!
