Close to Tiveden National Park lies this historic nature house from 1825. According to old traditions, the walls are leached. There is no running water, but as a tenant you will be provided with fresh water. Like many Swedish houses, this house has a utedas (just sitting toilet in an outside building, cleaned by us). You cook on a wood-fired stove and at the same time heat the house wonderfully. By the cozy fireplace you can enjoy the fireplace. This nature house is located in a unique place, in the middle of nature, so you can be surprised by moose or a lynx. No luxury, but an opportunity to unwind. A beautiful sauna is available for rent, where you cool off in a bubbling brook. Throughout the house is lighting on 12 V zonnepaneeI. In one of the lakes you can swim very well. For a 3rd person there is an extra charge of € 15 pp/pn. This can be checked when placing the booking.The house is not suitable for young children, babies welcome!

The estate, close to National Park Tiveden has hiking trails, which connect to the trails Berglagsleden and Munkastigen (pilgrims' route). The area is characterized by traces of the Ice Age, rocky, wildly flowing streams and surprising views that reach as far as the Vättern. The Tiveden National Park is a stone's throw away and is a unique nature reserve that has evoked many sagas and legends. You can swim and canoe on the nearby lakes, which you can walk to in 10 minutes. Walking through our forest you can get to the main building in about 10 minutes where you can rent bikes, a canoe and the beautiful sauna (see photo). There is even a yoga building where you may use by arrangement. Besides nature, there is also a lot of culture. The beautiful old harbor town of Askersund is a 25-minute drive from the house. There you can do your shopping and enjoy the typical Swedish atmosphere. Monastery ruins, wooden stave churches, stone circles indicate a rich history.
