This Lodge is a comfortable and cozy cottage in Drenthe, ideal for 2 people and dogs are welcome. Located on a wooded plot of 1250 m2 with plenty of privacy and well away from neighboring cottages. Layout: the cozy living room with sitting and dining area and wood stove has an open kitchen with all amenities such as an induction hob, oven / microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator (no freezer), coffee maker (both quick filter and nespresso) and further all necessary kitchen equipment. There is also a washing machine. The bathroom is small but complete with floor heating, shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom has a sturdy wooden double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a spacious closet. The garden offers sun all day and plenty of shade under the trees. In the evening you can barbecue on the terrace or sit around the garden fireplace. .... and on cold evenings you can crawl around the wood stove in the living room.

This Lodge is located in the heart of Drenthe, about 1 km from the village of Hooghalen. Hooghalen is located under the smoke of Assen. Because of this central location in the province of Drenthe, a stay in our cottage offers you the opportunity to discover the beautiful nature of the Drentse Highlands while walking or cycling. From the village you directly pick up hiking trails such as the "village detour" of Hooghalen, a walking route of about 5 km around the village. Also the knapsack route of 18 km starts in Hooghalen and runs among others through the Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork. And a few minutes by car there are plenty of other hiking possibilities.
