This romantic, natural granite ruralhut is built on a rock just above the Mondego River in Central Portugal. From the house you have a breathtaking view and easy access to the riverbeach. The cozy one room cottage has a private terrace. It is furnished with a double bed, a dining table, two chairs, a mini-fridge a wash-basin and a cozy fireplace. The three showers and toilets are located just 15 meters away in the sanitary unit. The tenants from the two rental caravans are the only other persons using these facilities. During hot summer days you can cool off on the covered terrace at the river beach or at the community pool. Here you will also find an honesty bar. To ensure the peace of the guests as much as possible, the landlords use a adult-only policy. The minimum recommended age for children is 16 years.

To all nature lovers! This ruralhut is situated in the protected Mondego valley. This pristine piece of nature is a bird paradise where the kite and the hops are seen frequently and where at night you can hear the owls. It is also the home of otters, foxes, boars, rabbits, squirrels, fire salamanders and various species of lizards. The nearest village, Povoa de Midões, is within walking distance (30 minutes) from the hut. Here you will find several cafes and a restaurant.
