This ruralhut is located on the edge of the owner’s terrain. The cottage offers a lot of privacy, yet you still have access to the facilities of the campsite. You have your own entrance and garden together with a magnificent view of the valley. The gîte, suitable for five people, is an authentic auvergnat house, where many of the original details have stayed preserved. The walls for instance have been restored to their original state. In addition, many old items and documents have been preserved, which have now found their place on the wall. A marriage certificate from 1776 for example! On the ground floor a living-dining room with fireplace, kitchen and toilet are located. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, oven and dishwasher. For the first night a basket full of wood for the fireplace can be found, after which you can obtain more wood from the landlords for a fee. The first floor consists of two bedrooms and a separate bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. There are two double beds and one single bed in these bedrooms, children’s furniture on request. Internet can be accessed through a LAN connection in the gîte and WiFi is available. During the low season (starting from 2 September up until 30 June) there is an extra charge for the oil heating. This is calculated after consumption. A rough estimate for the oil consumption is between 50 and 150 liters (oil prices vary between €0.60 and €1.00 per liter, the current oil price is used).

Located in the National park of Livradois Foret. The cottage is situated at the edge of the forest, so you can easily go out for a lovely walk. During the summer raspberries, blueberries and blackberries can be picked whilst you can look for mushrooms in the off season. A central heating system is present, so you’ll be nice and warm during the winter. Gite is at an altitude of 1070 meters. In the winter you can go cross-country skiing from the gîte (cross-country skiers are present) and ski at an hour’s distance.
