Accommodation Campania
We understand that a vacation to Italy is something all people dream of! We also know that most visitors want to see the most out of its whole territory. Nevertheless, we prefer a different approach. It is true that you can really experience the real Italy only if you have visited its countryside, which is why we suggest to see Italy in pieces, in regions. The region of Campania is home to 5 UNESCO sites in the country! It is obviously a region not to be missed!
We offer numerous options for your stay in Campania. Our accommodation includes chalets, bungalows, lodges and even villas with a pool! The hosts will welcome you and give you advice on the best places to visit in the area nearby your house. Enjoy the modern facilities and immerse in the comfort of a cozy Italian house with amazing views out the window! If you prefer to have the time for yourself on your trip, a contactless stay is also an option in most accommodations.
Explore Campania’s wilderness
Everyone has heard of Capri. This popular tourist destination is definitely among the most wonderful places in Italy. In fact, it is so famous that the name is growing in popularity for babies. Of course, you should also visit Faraglioni – the famous rock formations that have become a signature landmark for the island. Nature’s ability to produce this type of feature is mesmerizing. There is something else, which you just need to include in your agenda - Blue Grotto cave. The cave looks blue on the inside, due to the specific way in which light enters this water paradise.
We can’t forget to mention an important national park: Vesuvius National Park occupies the area around the volcano, a short drive away from Naples. The park includes the active volcano and its oldest crater, which is now inactive – Monte Somma. Vesuvius is one of only two active volcanoes on the continental part of Europe.
Activities
How about a nice climb to the top of Vesuvius? You can join the guided tours to learn more about the history of the area, especially how the volcano has affected it. The trail, which goes up the highest reaches of the crater, is one of the more popular hikes. It doesn’t require special hiking gear and is considered suitable even for beginners.
The trail to the top of Vesuvius offers views of other interesting geographical features in the area – Tirone Reserve, the bay of Naples and the Campanian Plain. Tirone Reserve is a forest reserve, which includes pine and holm oak woods. From here, you can enjoy picturesque views of the volcano! There is a trekking trail that goes through the reserve. It begins at Ercolano and continues for around 11 km, when it reaches Vesuvius. It is considered a trail of medium difficulty.
If you are looking for something more adrenaline boosting, then head to one of the rock climbing spots. This sport has grown in popularity in Campania and there are more and more enthusiasts on the rocks each year.
